Share boards

Share boards to collaborate in Stitchflow.

Overview

Boards are private to you until you share them. If you build a board that you think is useful to others in your workspace, you have the option of sharing it. Share boards with members in Stitchflow by clicking Share in the top right of a board.

Role assignments

Roles in Stitchflow are defined at both the workspace and board-level. When sharing a board, you can select if a member should have access as a Viewer or Editor.

  • Owners can make changes, run actions, share and delete the board.

  • Editors can make changes, run actions and share the board with others.

  • Viewers can access, but can’t change or share the board with others.

Admins always have full connection access, but if they are not the owner of a board and are only invited as a viewer, they cannot edit a board.

You can share with multiple members at once by selecting from the user list and choosing their role. You can also send a message to members to include additional context.

When sharing a board, owners and editors will only be able to share with users who have access to all the connections used in the board. Workspace admins will need to manage connections for those who need access.

Board list

When a board is shared with another member, it will live in Shared with me under boards. Shared boards will include information around when it was last updated, created at date, created by, shared with, and which integrations it's using.

If a viewer or editor loses access to one or more connections used on a shared board, they will immediately lose access to the shared board.

If an owner loses access to one or more connections used on a board they created, the board will be disabled until they regain connection access.
