Roles and permissions

An overview of roles and permissions in Stitchflow.

Overview

Stitchflow uses role-based access control to manage what a user can see or do in the product. Roles and permissions are defined on the level of workspaces and boards. Admins can manually invite, remove and upgrade/downgrade members to admin roles from the workspace members settings page.

Workspace roles

Workspace-level roles are predefined and cannot be modified. These roles control access to resources across Stitchflow.

  • Owners created the workspace and have full access to all scopes and can modify all features, users and settings.

  • Admins are invited users with full access to all scopes and can modify all features, users and settings.

  • Members are invited users with limited configured access to integrations and settings.

Board roles

Board-level roles grant and restrict access to data and actions on boards.

  • Owners can make changes, run actions, share and delete the board.

  • Editors can make changes, run actions and share the board with others.

  • Viewers can access, but can’t change or share the board with others.
